I am lactose intolerant and therefore do not eat dairy. My wife always talks about the benefits of probiotics in Yogurt. I wonder what foods I can eat that have probiotics given that I do not eat milk, yogurt or cheese. Any one know?

Doing my research, I believe Great Life Dog/Cat food is top on the list. They use a freeze dry process, use organic ingrediants, add probiotics and emzymes, freeze dried salmon oil and have grain free formulas. For your basic, good quality dog/cat food Canidae/Felindae is the smart choice. For organic, Newman’s Organic is a worthy one, and for raw food diet, Nature’s Variety is winner. Others to consider are Timberwolf, Merricks and Blue Buffulo. Do you agree? Give your comments Check out the websites.

Probiotics or bacterial cultures, such as found in yogurt are very important to keep our colon healthy and clean, probitics help the body to keep regular, build good bacterial flora, improve the immune system, it helps fight overgrown candida yeast, and promotes an over all well being. Some people have told me in my experience that when they take probiotics their joint do not ache and that they do not get the flu at all, I use them myself and have used for my children, probiotics also help with bowel diseases such as I B S, Chrohn’s and Colitis, probiotics will also help stop diarrhea and they are safe for pregnant women.
