Irritable Bowel Syndrome Treatment

Question by : I can’t poop well, I’m desperate!!!?
Around 3 weeks ago I made some brownies and did eat a lot of them, like 10, just after eating them i felt my stomach weird, I could feel the hard mass by pressing a little my stomach. I couldn’t get to poop for 3 days and I felt the hard mass all the way through my intestines by touch, just some days after that I started feeling bad again and I took milk of magnesia and it worked perfectly I had like a week or two without symptoms. Then again I started with some problems, my stool turned very thin a couple of times and then after that I could just poop very little and narrow pieces of stool, I went to the doctor and told him i thought it could be a fecal impaction, he prescribed me microlax and Pinaverium, it didn’t work. I still have the feeling that I have some stuck mass in my bowels but that’s not for sure, because before having the problem I took senosides for a long time, sometimes exceeding the dose and even the first days with the problem I took another overdose of senosides. But I’m really not sure what could it be and I’m desperate, the worst part is the lower back pain it makes me desperate, I also have had a lot of gas. Could somebody tell me what could it be, I don’t know if it’s Colon Cancer, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Fecal Impaction, Hemorroids, Polyp. This is really terrible and I don’t have money right now for another doctor.

Have you considered doing a colon cleanse? It should clear up most problems. The Master Cleanse is an easy and cheap one, but you don’t need to do it for very long if you just want to clear your bowels. A day or two should work. After the cleanse, make sure to eat enough fiber, drink lots of water and get enough magnesium in your diet (use supplements if you have to). Another great thing to try is physillium husks. It’s like instant fiber and will push any blockages out of the way. Just make sure to drink lots of water with it. Also make sure to take probiotics or eat lots of yogurt, especially after doing a cleanse

i’m having symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome.

i ended my period almost a week ago,
but i’m still somewhat crampy, i have diarreah for 2 days ..and then im constipated the next..my groin area is sensitive

The only thing is, my breasts are somewhat tender & im experincing fatigue & joint pain.

Does anyone know whats going on with me?
im 16, female..

my sister had almost the same thing, she went to the dr. and they did all these tests. they put her on omperozale and put her ona strict diet. she cant have soda that much, no fried foods, really sugary drinks or food, no icing, stuff like that. its been about 6 months, and she’s doning great, she takes the omperazale pill once a day, and watches her diet, but not as strictly. hope that helps!!

Question by Just Win Baby: I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome, does it lead to Erectile dysfunction as well?? both came at the same time.?
During this these past 3yrs, I have the expierenced the cause of and symptoms of IBS and I’m tired of it. During this span I have experienced some form of ED as well. I have 3 doctors visits with no results of improvement to stop this. I do believe it is chiefly caused to Stress that I believe Im not aware about in my life AND due to a long term physicological situation that I have dealing with over the last 3yrs – where I may have some form of depression over it, inside me. So, If I have clearly have IBS, is it possible it has effected other main areas of my body as well? Due to my ED situation as well? I am 38 yrs old.

I don’t think so . My husband has IBS and hes fine.

My friend gives her children 7 and 9 vitamin supplements( all vitamins) and probiotics for the past 2 years. She feeds them healthy and well, but they are overweight. I was just wondering if by doing that (giving them extra supplements since they are well fed)it can cause them to be overweight. Thank you.
