I take a multi vitamin , saw palmetto, boitin, vitamin-c ,& b-vitamins, fish oil in the morning with apple cider vinager. In the evening I take saw palmetto, Grape seed extract, stinging nettle, & fish oils

I dont know. Is there a such thing as taking too many probiotics? And if you mix different brands is that harmful to your system?

My 18 month old daughter has an ear infection (likely caused by a milk intolerance) and we’ve been advised to treat her with antibiotics, homeopathics and arabinogalactans. We’ve asked if this is safe to take together and our naturopath says yes. However, we’re just looking for a little support on this from knowledgeable people. PS We’re also using probiotics which we have no problem with. Thanks!

Yes you can, actually yes you most emphatically should ….. leave a four hour gap between taking the antibiotics and taking the probiotics or the antiobiotics will negate the probiotics beneficial good bacteria….. wonderfull wonderfull question mate ….. thank you for asking it !!
take a supplement before your main meal as this will help with the digestive process by encouraging the growth of beneficial bacteria in the digestive tract, it will also help maintain optimal intestinal pH, which, in turn, helps with complete digestion…… probiotics will increase the absorption of minerals, such as calcium, magnesium and sometimes iron too….. they also produce some of the B vitamins, including biotin, niacin, folic acid, pantothenic acid, vitamin B12 and vitamin B6…… the B vitamins are essential for healthy neural, digestive and immune system functioning.

you are advised to take probiotics after antibiotics to replace the ‘good’ bacteria and prevent you from getting an infection from any possible antibiotic resistant bacteria particularly C. diff
there is no point taking probiotics during your course because they will get killed

I’m on cephalexin (keflex) for a bladder infection, and i was wondering when I should take my probiotic (culturelle) – right after I take my antibiotic, right before I take it, etc. ?

I recently have been prescribed antibiotics for acne and was wondering if taking probiotics now would be pointless because the antibiotics will kill all the bacteria.I know I need this good bacteria, but should I wait and save my money for after I’m off the antibiotics?
