Irritable Bowel Syndrome Treatment

Question by nuggets: PLEASE READ!! Are my dreams, nights when I sleep without a peaceful mind caused by the stress of others?
Do we communicate our emotions through dreams? The next morning I woke up having Irritable Bowel Syndrome. That’s how much these negative emotions affected me. Can we sense the sadness distress of others when we are asleep. I don’t think my sister is o.k.
I feel that I can feel if someone close to me is becoming depressed only when i am half awake and half asleep.

I think we subconsciously sense emotions of others, and dream about them. We can also have nightmares that upset us

Question by Drew: How should I get to sleep easier?
I suffer from IBS, which is Irritable Bowel Syndrome. One symptom of IBS, is nocturnal symptoms. I usually can’t get to sleep, and I need help!

when i need to get to sleep without using pills oranything i eat turkey. turkey contains something called tryptophan which makes you feel sleepy, and its all natural. oh and pull your floorfan out if you have one, even if it isnt summer. white noise helps you sleep, I personally cant sleep without my fan, youll get hooked on it too

I have had no luck with traditional therapies and need to find a hypnotherapist who takes insurance! Also, I’m from a small town in Iowa and can’t find a sleep tape to aid in falling asleep. Help! Thanks.
