I think i may have endometriosis. Here is a symptom list of endometriosis. (i willl put yes next to it if i have it)

* ovarian cysts- Yes, many of them, i just had one pop at the emergancy room two days ago
* ectopic pregnancy-I haven’t been pregnant
* Pelvic Inflammatory Disease- No.
* irritable bowel syndrome- No, haven’t been tested for it though
* appendicitis Yes
* Pain before and during periods -Yes, really bad. My doctors put me on vicoden for it!
* Pain with intercourse -I haven’t had sex
* General, chronic pelvic pain throughout the month- Yes all the time, it hurts really bad too.
* Low back pain – Yes, allot.
* Heavy and/or irregular periods- Yes really bad. Very heavy, and going on all the time
* Painful bowel movements, especially during menstruation – Yes
* Painful urination during menstruation -Yeah it stings.
* Fatigue -Yes very. I get really tired and weak feeling
* Infertility- I don’t know, im not trying for a baby.
* Diarrhea or constipation -Yes both, i will have really bad diarrhea, and then random constipation
* Headaches- YES
* Low grade fevers-i always have a 99.6 temp.
* Depression -so/so but i think its because what i have been through
* Anxiety- so/so
* Susceptibility to infections, allergies -Yes I got a few bladder infections, and one kidney infection. And a staff infection
oh and it runs in my family, my mom has it
oh&& i got an ovarian cyst even before my period started like WTF?
and they have me on birth control for heavy periods.

Endometriosis can’t kill you, so there’s no reason to be scared. Many women have it and live perfectly normal lives. Common treatments include use of birth control and laparoscopy to remove endometrosis lesions, though they can grow back.

Okay so I found out yesterday that I am pregnant. Which is great but I’m scared. You see I’m having pain on my right side. And normally I get my IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) pains there but now I’m scared that even though its in the same place as the IBS pains that it might be an ectopic pregnancy. They did blood work today. I’m just praying its the IBS. anyways have any of you ever wondered? Or thought that?

I shouldn’t be so worried but I’m scared. I’ve got pain in my lower right abodmen and back (where I normally get my IBS pains….but I’m not constipated right now or anything.)

I’m pretty scared

My symptoms are: Missed period (with light spotting on day of expected period)
Nausea
Slight back pain
Gas

Sadly my blood pressure is a little high right now because I’m so nervous about everything at the moment….anxious (which causes IBS)
I just want to be able to be happy about this, instead of scared

If it isn’t the IBS it could just be round ligament pain. I got it pretty regularly in the first half of my pregnancy, always on the right side, but now it’s much less. It’s pretty painful though. If you’re really scared, go to the hospital. Better safe then sorry. Good luck!!!

Now, I’m going to make clear that I haven’t gotten any diagnosis of anything and I had an X-ray revealing no bowel obstruction, bone or other dense tumor. That being said, I have been having a lot of abdominal issues for the past few months, such as abdominal pain (which was severe a while ago but has recently been not quite as bad since I’ve lowered my stress levels), occasional low fevers, very occasional blood in the stool (usually this happens only with diarrhea, but sometimes on a fully formed stool), and other things such as mild nausea, heartburn, and I’ll occasionally get sores on my lips and a little arthritis. Today when I woke up I noticed a pressure-like pain under my rib cage on my right side. In the beginning the pain was in my back but as time went on it became more and more of an issue in my front side. I went to the health center at my university and they found no evidence of an enlarged liver when the palpated me nor did they find anything abnormal when they percussed it. This made me feel slightly better, but then I found out that I had a fever of 99.6. Also, I took 2 ibuprofen and am currently wearing a heatpad, neither of which has done much to get rid of the irritation. My appetite has been stunted for the day, but I’m also very stressed out, so that may have something to do with it. Either way, I did force myself to eat and nothing made me nauseous or made me vomit. I don’t think I have any other liver mets. symptoms other than the dull pain (i.e. no jaundice or hepatomegaly) but I’ve heard that cancer that spreads effects everyone differently and may even be asymptomatic. Btw, I’m 18 years old with no family history of any specific cancer, but my mothers side has a variety of bowel issues such as Crohn’s disease and irritable bowel syndrome. Does this sound like liver metastasis? As I’ve said, I have had arthritis in my knees, fingers, and shoulders, but this pain under the rib cage only began today and got worse fast. Could some sort of benign condition be causing all this? I am seeing a specialist soon, but I need input before then so I can maybe sleep tonight…

Oh yeah, I’ve just been diagnosed with Crohns Disease, and it IS hereditary. My mom has it, and these are most of the symptoms she’s had right before she had to go to the hospital and get surgery. I don’t want you to panic, but I think you should really talk to your doctor about this and get some scopes. I’m talking colonoscopy, andoscopy, fluoroscopy. I also have Rheumatoid Arthritis, which is a symptom of Crohns. I’d be very careful, and act fast. Good luck!

OK, I got up at about 5 am yesterday morning, with bad cramps and a burning sensation every 20-30 mins. in my lower abdomen first, and then slowly traveling up to my middle abdomen. It feels as if, I have terrible diarrhea pains. I have diarrhea very bad, but its not too bad. I have a slight fever, not to extreme only around 100.2, and the pain still comes every 15-30 mins. I have chills now and i have jeans, socks, a tank top, a shirt, and a jacket on. I am scared because I’ve read about Diverticulitis and IBS ( Irritable bowel syndrome ) and the horrible…… Crohn’s Disease, and my symptoms seem to line up with most symptoms listed. I am terrified please help me!!!!!! My seems to be temperature is rising too. Please don’t think Im just freaking out, Im not a doom gloomer, and I didnt just go look for bad things that could be wrong with me. I have talked to 3 nurses and they have all suggested the above conditions. I cry because the pain is unbearable, If this doesnt go away by 5 this morning I will go to the emergency room, because I cant handle it. i have no insurance right now, I dropped off my parents about 6 months ago, but i will be back on january 1st, thats the only reason i havent went yet, just because i dont want my parents to pay a crap load of money for a stomach virus!!! anyway give my some thoughts please… btw, someone asked previously, Im 19

So a little history, i’m 19 and I have a history of colon cancer in my family. I do not smoke, and i am a healthy weight for my height and age.
But ever since i can remember (very young) i’ve had hard pellet stools and occasionally lately they are normal but mostly the hard pellets. They aren’t small pellets they’re like normal, sized around but not long like stool is supposed to be. Also, since about a year and a half ago i’ve had occasional pain while using the bathroom that usually goes away, and rarely there is bright red blood on top of the stool or on the toilet paper. Also occasionally there is mucus on the stools. I use the bathroom like every other day or every 2 days. So not as often as some. Also sometimes after i eat certain foods i get bloated and gassy.
I’ve done a lot of research and Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and Colon cancer has similar symptoms. My sister also has stomach problems, and i think she has the diarreah dominant IBS and i might have the constipation dominant one?
My mom and fiance’ think i’m over reacting and that i just have IBS and/or hemmorhoids.
Any input? Could i have colon cancer or am i just being a hypochondriac? :/
please help!
I also have obsessive compulsive disoder and a college student, which causes me a lot of stress, which can affect IBS? not sure if thats helpful

Your asking people who are not doctors. Go see a doctor….Your likely over-reacting but if your worried go get checked out.

I’m Scared To Take These Probiotics I Bought! If Anybody’s Ever Tried Them, Please Let Me Know How It Worked!

I know probiotics are supposed to fight the bad bacteria in your body, but I’m still worried about how well they work, if they work at all. I’m hoping I don’t get sick. I’d like to know about any experiences with the stuff… What’s your imput?
