question by jr2007 : Question about irritable bowel syndrome bentyl …? Hello. I was diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome yesterday and my gastroenterologist prescribed me bentyl. Sometimes nausea, diarrhea and abdominal pain. I have no appetite and it’s like this for 1 month. I eat very little, and his belongings, including rice, noodles and biscuits. No meat or the like. I am from what I have, and this pill is not afraid, I do not know what does and what to do and feel. I am weak and tired, but I drink as much water as possible, so no I’m not dried up. He said to give a pill for two weeks and then if it does not work we’ll go from there … What would you do? Any tips to feel better? best answer:

This is a psychological problem at the base. Please check and see if all the trees creates a problem. If so some meditation first check with your doctor and then do meditation, yoga, and regular walking for 30-40 minutes.Take abspülen.Tale small often leads diets. Calm, cool, slow tension to some unnecessary problems.

I was diagnosed with IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) about 3 months ago

I have a question, Is it normal with IBS to have some blood in the stool?

Just curious because I remember the doctor saying something about blood but I wasn’t sure.

And if it happens I don’t want to freak out if its part of it. I really don’t recall what he said.

I’m just doing research on it and trying to find out what is normal with IBS and what is not.

Yeah I am not on any meds for it. Being that I am only 22. They want me to correct it with diet first….if that doesn’t work we will try meds but I don’t want to be on meds the rest of my life

i have ibs to…but i take pills for it when my tummy hurts…but i dont recal there ever being blood in stool though. best bet is to call the doc and ask. or research online

my daughters boyfriend says he has it and after two years he finally told her she loves him. i cleaned up his vomit 3 times about 4-5 months ago me and my daughter were tested a week ago the test said negative thank god but i have irritable bowel syndrome and i have these piching pains usually on my left side but under all this stress i have been having them on my upper right side and now i am scared beacuse thats you liver area and i have itchy rash on my stomach i dont know i thats where you get rash with hepatitis it could be just a heat rash i heard that hepatits c can mimick so many other things but my test was negative and i have heard these test are pretty reliable are they
they tested me while they were testing my daughter after i told them i cleaned up his vomit but they said if i did get it that way it would because i had a cut on my hand

yes they are reliable. I believe that Hep C can be ingested in the air. The pain that you are having is associated with IBS and I feel for you because I have the same problem. As for the rash I would think it is a heat rash. If you are concerned go see the Doctor and have a liver function test. It is a simple blood test that you can get the results back in 24 hours.

The probiotics went in too soon (around 115 or 120 degrees F). So I’m sure they’re dead, I’m trying to cool it in an ice bath now.
So, once it cools to the proper temp, is it okay for me to add more probiotics and make yogurt from it, or is it completely shot at this point?
If I can’t use it for yogurt, is it safe to still drink the milk with the dead probiotics in it?

If the temp was 115, then they probably aren’t dead. I always thought 120 was the “killing” temp for a yogurt culture. But, to be sure what I would do is to heat the milk to about 130 in order to be sure to kill off what you’ve added. And then I would add some more starter once the milk is at the proper temp. The dead starter shouldn’t have much affect, if any.

Ok. I think I might be coming on with Irritable bowel syndrome once again.. Im starting to get the basic beggining feelings of it.. Is there anyway to stop this?

Second. Lets say it does happen. What are going to be somethings that would get rid of this in less then 4 days?

I have IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). I just recently started taking an over the counter medication for it. I drink a cup of coffee a day,sometimes none at all. My friend says that I should cut out coffee completely. I wouldn’t miss it, but I was wondering if that was necessary? It doesn’t say anything about caffeine consumption on the box or the bottle of the medication.

question about herbal remedies for someone to answer?

I have a preschooler and she is always getting sick from her classmates. I have been sick 4 times in the last 6 months. Do any herbal remedies actually work? I’m thinking either emergen-C or probiotics. I need something to boost my immunity. I already eat healthy, work out regularly and get plenty of sleep.

What are probiotics? Are they safe? What should I look for when purchasing a probiotic and are there any brands that are highly recommended?
Also, do probiotics work on the small intestines or is it only effective on the large intestines?
