Answer by Samantha Endometriosis can’t kill you, so there’s no reason to be scared. Many women have it and live perfectly normal lives. Common treatments include use of birth control and laparoscopy to remove endometrosis lesions, though they can grow back.

Question by Nikki: Possibly tmi, mature ladies only please! ?
Ok Ladies, for those who have been following my story I have a little question. Ill give a little background to refresh your memory’s.
So I normally have a 43-46 day regular cycle, but this month 2 days before AF was due I saw a little bit of light red/pink when I whiped, it was mixed with my urine, so it was more of a yellowish pinkish color lol, anyways, I put a pad on and took some midol. We went out for the day and when I got back I went to change my pad to find there wasn’t amything there. Then me and hubby had some sex, just for fun (hehe) and noticed some brown discharge when we were done. for two days there was some brown when I whiped, but nothing that I’d need a panty liner for. It only showed up the first whipe. Anyways, I just figured it was getting a slow start so I waited a few more days and still no af. I took HPT’s, all neg of course, and when I was 15 days late I went in to the doctors for a blood pregnancy test. They didn’t take the type that says how high or low your hcg is, just positive or negative. It was negative. Sad, but was just excited for af to come and let us start over. Well.. Wednesday will make one week since I got the blood test and AF still hasn’t shown! Shouldn’t she have shown her nasty little head? Everytime in the past I thought I might be pregnant I never was that late, and AF always came soon after a BFN. My symptoms haven’t gone away either. Today I woke up at 3am with the urge like I was going to crap my pants, and a really bad ache right above my pubic line, kinda to the left a little I guess. I went to the bathroom, had a little diarhea and crawled back into bed. I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome, so I figured I must have eaten something, but I’m really not sure on what it could have been. I had a terrible time tossing and turning, feeling queasy.. Woke up again at 4:50am, Same feeling, only when I crawled back to bed I layed down and got this overwhelming feeling like I’m going to puke. And wouldn’t ya know it, 2 seconds after I thought that I could run fast enough. I threw up all over my floor in the bathroom. Followed by lots of more throwing up, then finally got to take my anti nausea (safe to take if pregnant) But I feel a little bit better now, no throwing up, still a little queasy but it’s better now that i’ve slept a little. Basically, Why in the world has my period still not shown? If I had gotten my period, my next one would have been due Nov.10th. It’s almost halloween! I don’t know what to think. Help? I think I’m going to take one of my pee sticks tomorrow morning, just incase.. Ive been getting little pains in my sides, but not like sharp or painful. Same Achy cramps I was having 2 days before my period. What’s your thoughts?
Still have white creamy cm, no fever (I don’t have the flu) 98.1, higher then I normally run but definitly not a fever. I’m normally 96.3-96.7

Question by : PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTION! I NEED TO GET BETTER!!?
I was sick with the stomach flu about three weeks ago. I threw up on a Saturday, and I had diarrhea the rest of that week. I got better a week later. I go to school, and everyone has been sick with the stomach flu. I’ve had Irritable Bowel Syndrome before, so I know what it feels like. My mom said that it’s probably that, but I know it isn’t. My symptoms are diarrhea, and I feel as if there is a lump in my throat, not making me want to eat or drink. I have only eaten some chips and a grape popsicle today. Please tell me what I should do and what I should eat/drink! Thank you so much to whoever wants to help me!

Answer by Hannah You should check to make sure you don’t have any signs of fever first. Going to the doctor is always a good option, (they diagnose stuff for a living, haha) but you should probably take it easy for a while, lay off exercise and drink plenty of fluids. Also, if you’re allergic to anything, it might be the cause. I recommend going to the doctor, though. If your throat is sore, you probably have strep, which can turn even uglier if left untreated.

Question by TerriersRock: Pregnant with IBS….scared and need advice? Please help (Scared of Ectopic Pregnancy being an issue)?
Okay so I found out yesterday that I am pregnant. Which is great but I’m scared. You see I’m having pain on my right side. And normally I get my IBS (irritable bowel syndrome) pains there but now I’m scared that even though its in the same place as the IBS pains that it might be an ectopic pregnancy. They did blood work today. I’m just praying its the IBS. anyways have any of you ever wondered? Or thought that?
I shouldn’t be so worried but I’m scared. I’ve got pain in my lower right abodmen and back (where I normally get my IBS pains….but I’m not constipated right now or anything.)
I’m pretty scared
My symptoms are: Missed period (with light spotting on day of expected period)
Nausea
Slight back pain
Gas
Sadly my blood pressure is a little high right now because I’m so nervous about everything at the moment….anxious (which causes IBS)
I just want to be able to be happy about this, instead of scared

Answer by Arrey If it isn’t the IBS it could just be round ligament pain. I got it pretty regularly in the first half of my pregnancy, always on the right side, but now it’s much less. It’s pretty painful though. If you’re really scared, go to the hospital. Better safe then sorry. Good luck!!!

Question by : Please help! Pain in lower right side of abdomen; any ideas?
I’m a 20 year old female who has been experiencing a pain in my lower right hand side of my abdomen for about a year now. It’s a fairly dull pain, usually, but sometimes it can get very sharp. I’ve been to my doctor several times about it- at first we thought it might be Appendicitis, but I didn’t think that the pain would last thing long if it is. We then thought it might be irritable bowel syndrome, but then why would it stay only on my right side, and not my entire lower half? Endometriosis has run in my family for about two generations now- My grandmother and my mother (mother’s side), so then my doctor and I figured it might be that; however, the symptoms that I have been experiencing don’t seem to be very consistent. This includes lower back pain, painful menstrual cycles, sometimes pain during sex, depression, anxiety, etc. Again, although I have experienced these, they don’t appear to be consistent with each of my month cycles; sometimes I get them, sometimes I don’t (and I figure if I DO actually have endometriosis, they WOULD be consistent). The pain is also predominately on my right side, and I thought endometriosis would cause pain all over the pelvic region. A close friend also told me that it might be an overactive ovary, however sometimes the pain, although still on my right side, is not where my ovary [should] be, which is closer to my hip bone. More often than not, the pain is just above my hip bone, in line with my belly button; once again, I’ve been tested for appendicitis, because I know that is where that pain usually is, but my results have come back negative for any sort of infections. I’ve also been told it may be a cyst of some sort, but ultrasounds have resulted negative for those, too.
I’ve been to my gynecologist, who doesn’t seem to be taking me seriously, and all she did was throw me on birth control around August off last year. Although it seems to be taking the edge off of the pain, it is STILL here. I’ve had ultrasounds, x-rays, CT scans, and blood tests, and nothing has shown up on them. I have also lost a lot of weight since the pain has began, which is unusual, since I am STILL on the birth control. I have yet to get an internal, which I know would at least give me a further idea of what is going on, but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced anything like this; What did you do, or how did you deal with it? At this point, any clues or ideas would really take a load off my plate.

Answer by No way It could be intestinal. Try a different doctor
