Irritable Bowel Syndrome Treatment

Question by private: I smell like crap all the time.Do I have Fecal Body Odor? Please help!!?
Hello, to make the long story short like everyone else with this problem its been going on for along time. I finally came across a disese that could be what I have. But not so sure now. I smell like crap all the time at school and everywere I go. I have good hygine and a good diet. The smell only comes when Im constipated or am not able to have a bowel movement when I feel like i really need too. And it comes when I have to do a number 2. My parents think im parinod but im not. I went to the hospital to get tested for TMAU. Trimethylaminuria. But results havent come back yet. Im afraid its going to come back negative. So im wondering could I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). Because everytime I go to the restroom I have to lean forward to help the stool come out. And have to strain hard for along time and when im really constipated or having a bad day it wont come out. And then I smell like crap all the time. But days when Im able to go to the restroom, when Im able to clean myself out and get rid of all the waste.I smell, what you could say, ok… But like I said everytime I have to go take a number 2 I smell like crap. And im clean head from toe. And when im constipated I smell like crap. So which diesese do you think I have?

Question by Jack: I am looking to buy a pro biotic to fight bad body odor any recommendations?
I am a very hygienic person but I still suffer from bad body odor and i read online that probiotics help combat bad body odor so i was wondering if anybody that had similar experiences could recommend one that worked for him or her? also any other suggestions for supplements to combat body odor?
(please no sarcasm)

Hi Align is a good one for probiotics. Also sometime what we eat can cause body odor. Do you eat a lot of onions, garlic, cabbage etc? Bathing twice daily and taking a perfumed spritz bottle with you and spritzing during the day would help also. Make sure you have a deodorant that is long acting also. Good Luck.

Have any of you had any good results from taking probiotics and / or noticed a reduction in bad breath or body odor by taking them on a daily basis? I’d like to try Garden Of Life Primal Defense Ultra since I do have digestive issues to see if that’ll help w/ the bad breath and odor. O yea, also wanted to add that I have seen a dentist and he says my teeth and gums are perfect. I’ve also commented on the b.o. to a couple of doctor’s but they just basically brush it off and one told me she didn’t notice any odor, but it’s weird cuz other people (co-workers and some relatives do??)
