Question by billy s: will probiotics (inner health plus for kids) help my 16 month old son with constipation ?
My son has suffered constipation since he was 2 months old. I have taken him to doctors and health professionals and they all say the same, increase the fibre and fluids well i have tried it all prunes, extra water, weetbix, more fruit and veg, coloxyl (stool softener), para choc (which is a laxative but don’t really want to use it) and just brought inner health plus for kids / high potency probiotics. Will this help him because he would be really uncomfortable and i need to find a cure for him. The poor thing is in pain when he goes (usually every day) because it’s so hard and usually he has some blood as well while going to the toilet.
All answers would be appreciated because i know something out there has to work (preferably natural stuff).

Thanks

I found that when I started to give my daughter fresh blueberries, she became much less constipated. All of the things that you said didn’t work also didn’t really work for us but the blueberries have helped so so much. If you can get fresh ones where you are, give it a try. As for the probiotics, I’m afraid I don’t know if that will help :-(

Good luck!

What can I mix my kids probiotics in? They will not take the capsules so I have to mix them in something…what can I use? Liquid would be best but I read that they won’t mix in it? They are 2 and 3 and pretty picky about what goes in their mouth…….. the doctor prescribed them but I have no clue what to do with them?

My friend gives her children 7 and 9 vitamin supplements( all vitamins) and probiotics for the past 2 years. She feeds them healthy and well, but they are overweight. I was just wondering if by doing that (giving them extra supplements since they are well fed)it can cause them to be overweight. Thank you.

I started my three girls on probiotics a couple of weeks ago for general overall health reasons. My one daughter who suffers from ADHD, Bipolar, and PDD has had an incredible benefit form this supplement. She is a different child. She is calm, happy, and has had a wonderful attitude. Has anyone had the same benefit or is it just a total coincidence.
