Can you give infants acidophilus to keep their immune system strong?

I recently read an article about probiotics helping colicky babies. I recently purchased Udo’s Choice Infant blend probiotics, but would like to hear if anyone has used it and if it has helped. It’s not FDA approved so I’m a little worried about giving it to my 2 month old.
