Question by D_M: Besides eating healthy, I am taking One A Day, 1000 IU D3, Omega 3 and probiotics capsules. Too much or fine?
I am a 30 year old women with no health problems. I am just trying to be as healthy as I can. I searched and find out that Vitamin D3 is important, so I added this to my daily Women’s multivitamin (since its not adequate) Then I added probiotics and Omega 3 pills because they are good for you. But I started to wonder, am I overdoing it? Is it possible to harm my body with too much supplements? Or is it fine as long as they are diverse?

Take the Vitamin D every other day. The rest is fine.

Question by Steve: How to stop extreme burping besides probiotics or carbon or antacid or “Beano” that I’ll try when I find it?
I have unbelievable amounts of gas burping from me constantly.
I intend to try “Beano” when I find some for sale, but no luck so far, minimal hope of that.
I tried probiotics like acidophilus, yogurts like “Activia” (they stopped gas from the other end, a bigger problem, thank God, worth their money, but they don’t stop the burping!).
I also tried antacids like “Tums” & stuff, didn’t help.
I tried carbon, like ash, didn’t help.
I was in close quarters over a year ago & about 8 of us came down with some strange sickness that caused the same problem after healing… something within our digestive tracts now makes incredible volumes of gas!

Try eating smaller meals. Sit up straight when eating and remain upright as long as you can after eating. It will help the esophagus to allow the food to go down into the stomach without gas coming back up.
Beano is really for gas but not for burping. The other end. Maybe it will clear out the gas for you though. Good luck. No one likes to keep burping.
Do you have a little tummy? It could be preventing you from allowing food to get down easier.

I am already eating yogurt and taking a probiotic supplement. Was just wondering if there are other good sources of probiotics out there?
Also, I want to try making my own kimchi. I’m not sure where to buy napa cabbage, though. Can I possibly get it at a regular grocery store?

I’ve heard taking probiotics are good to help keep your digestive system balanced and healthy but is there anything else that you know that does this? Something that’s even more effective for digestive issues such as recurring indigestion (which is what I’ve been having alot recently) and / or also chronic constipation?
