Question by B : im going to take probiotics for Bacterial Vaginosis but…?
im still on antibiotics because i came down with strep throat last week….Along with a yeast infection a couple days after.. And im almost 100% positive that the antibiotics gave me a yeast infection…But i was wondering if taking the probiotics will help BOTH B.V. AND my yeast infection??
for those of you who think that i havent seen a doc already about BV..i have, she gave me antibiotics and it went away but came right back after antibiotics ran out…. Its common with alot of women with BV for it to reoccur….and a tip that has really helped women with it was takin probiotic pills and yogurt..So that is what im experimenting

See your doc about the BV – don’t self medicate. Between the antibiotics and the anti-fungals, you really shouldn’t introduce new bacteria yet.

I started taking a probiotic called Ultimate flora critical care for bacterial vaginosis and now my vaginal odor is different and smells worse. I am so frustrated. I have seen the yogurt remedies so might try that but everyime I go to the doctor I get help and it comes back.
