Irritable Bowel Syndrome Treatment

Question by Cupcake : Stool like water for some months now, also run to the loo after eating something, PLEASE help?
Alright so, I’m so.. a few months ago I had my college exam results coming out, they were extremely important exams and I was taking way too much tension over the results. I found myself using the loo everytime I would start thinking of what I would get in my exams, later I researched and got to know I had ISB – Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I cleared my exams well. But even NOW I go to the loo just after give minutes of eating something, and I have gas too.

Sometimes I get pain. The stool is like water, and when I have to run to the loo, the feeling is so intense, and the stool is real wattery. I know it’s NOTHING to do with my diet. And I do eat good carbs too, but that hasn’t helped make my stool normal again. I’ve been to the Dr. before, because a year ago I was facing the problem of hard stools with blood in it. Tests were taken for colon cancer, but they came out clear, it was just a fissure. What could be the problem this time? IBS? Or something else. I’m 19, a little overweight. Thanks.

You need to quit stressing, and chilax.
Thats whats causing the “loo” problems.

treating the runs with probiotics and pepto, they seem to be helping, what’s the deal with the drool? He’s never done this before.

Is he eating any clover? Clover can cause what is called “slobbers” where the horse drools excessively and it can sometimes be foamy. Has he recently had a diet change? That could cause the runs. And, as always, when in doubt, call your vet.

I have rectal burning. Bad. I am 35 and have been scoped in the past, I can’t tell you how many times. My diet has changed a lot b/c of cholesterol issues. Along with this I am having SEVERE bilateral hip bone pain. I don’t know what has caused this, but only a small dose of morphine stops the pain. That is temporary. It was given to me in the hospital for another reason… the morphine pills. The doctors don’t seem to give a flip about the rectal pain nor the hip pain– saying that bilateral hip bone pain isn’t common— and it will go away, but this has been going on since November. What should I do??? I am so depressed about all of this…. b/t my butt and my hips… I just am desperate. Thanks.

I have had no luck with traditional therapies and need to find a hypnotherapist who takes insurance! Also, I’m from a small town in Iowa and can’t find a sleep tape to aid in falling asleep. Help! Thanks.
