Question by Blue A: Acidophilus/Probiotics in powder form.?
This might be a weird question but would anyone know where specifically I could find Acidophilus in powder form in the Brooklyn NY area or Manhatten area. i know it’s easier to get it online but I can’t go that route so any info would be helpful.

I don’t know where to get the powder form but you should know that if you use the powder form you will only get about 5% of what you take down in the lower gut where it is needed. Most of it is digested in the stomach.

You need one that is triple encapsulated so it doesn’t break down until it gets there.

If you look on the bottles they almost always say that they guarantee that there are a certain number of the live bacteria in the bottle AT TIME OF MANUFACTURE

A better option is one that guarantees that it has a number of live bacteria (not as much needed) delivered to the lower intestine.

Hope this is helpful. No sense in paying for something you won’t get!
