question Ning : What is Probiotics? its achievements and problems? Health risks associated with probiotic therapy? Probiotics are live microorganisms in the human intestine, the health benefits transferred to the host. He quickly became a popular treatment used in gastrointestinal diseases. But not for the safety of probiotic therapy studied in depth and some evidence shows the potential risks health. best answer:

 answer oldtimekid2
I would be very interested that these alleged health risks … You are correct that they are micro-organisms in the gut, but can not be included in the bloodstream, or anywhere that there is fear of overdose or something. I never have any health risks are very probiotics than more loose stools with large amounts of probiotics (and yes, excessive diarrhea, difficult to hear, but everything in moderation). What is important to have more health issues with insufficient probiotics too much, and it is found different from those taking antibiotics (which kill good and bad bacteria) and compliance issues and / or recurrent bacterial Bad deposits (eg recurrent fungal infections) since. Feel free to email me if you have specific questions or more information. Hope to help!

Question by IQ: Yogurt making question – I put the probiotics in too soon?
The probiotics went in too soon (around 115 or 120 degrees F). So I’m sure they’re dead, I’m trying to cool it in an ice bath now.
So, once it cools to the proper temp, is it okay for me to add more probiotics and make yogurt from it, or is it completely shot at this point?
If I can’t use it for yogurt, is it safe to still drink the milk with the dead probiotics in it?

Best answer:

Answer by B. Garni
If the temp was 115, then they probably aren’t dead. I always thought 120 was the “killing” temp for a yogurt culture. But, to be sure what I would do is to heat the milk to about 130 in order to be sure to kill off what you’ve added. And then I would add some more starter once the milk is at the proper temp. The dead starter shouldn’t have much affect, if any.

Good Luck!

I continue having chronic abdominal pain and feel as if something is burning inside the stomach. It feels steamy inside the stomach. The burning sense is strong. I also had a hernia in the intestine last year and went through surgery. I see stones in stool, but gastro-enterologist ignores it whenever i say stones in stool. Tried every possible medication and remedy, but no relief. What to do?

 response
most foods are not probiotics. People usually do not want to live organisms in food, and usually a bad idea. All foods have enzymes, but most are inactivated by cooking. Enzymes are proteins, the cells can function, each cell and each food is (or was at one time) of cells. You can find information about the content of proteins, enzymes and not – for food, this is a protein that we use, regardless of their initial Funktion.Omega-3 fatty acids: http://www. americanheart.org / presenter.jhtml? id = 4632http: / / www.hsph.harvard.edu/nutritionsource/questions/omega-3/index.htmlBallaststoffe:http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/fiber/nu00033http: / / www.hsph.harvard. edu / nutrition Source / what-you-can-eat / fiber-full story / <index.htmlm / p> Send your answer to this question below! </index.htmlm>
