More than you think – if it is extreme you can’t get over the counter meds – you need a prescription and to be watch!
I have sister that suffers severely from Crohn’s and my son has colitis. I also know about celic sprue or other name is the Irish disease.

If it is caused by anxiety, you have no choice but an antidepressant. It stopped mine immediately.

unknown as to how many as being a personal thing,some people will feel embarassed to discuss it! Try probotics esp the one formulated by a Japanese doctor Probotics are for your gut no prescriptipn needed! also eat Amaranth and Spelt flakes/cereals

I suffer from irritable bowel disease not irritable bowel syndrome the two are similar but they are not the same thing irritable bowel disease is way way harder to deal with.
