can, but I doubt it. All Probiotics are beneficial bacteria that digest food which can help you. What you need is a laxative.

  1. oldtimekid2 says:

Probiotics help to promote regularity, but that doesn’t mean they will force you to poop… it means you will poop more regularly and consistently when you take them.

With that being said 2-3 BMs a week is not abnormal, nor is it unhealthy. In fact, it is usually just a sign that you don’t eat as much food as people who have BMs every day (or a few times a day). If your colon doesn’t have enough content to poop out, you don’t need to have a BM, but I have heard some nutritionists who have said you should have 1 or 2 BMs a day (which I see as excessive as you might not even absorb all the nutrients in your food, depending on the food). As long as you poop at least 2-3 times a week and have a productive BM each time, that’s perfectly fine and perfectly safe. You could add more fiber into your daily diet to help keep your colon clean, but you shouldn’t need to clean your colon unless you’re really constipated when you go. Good luck and I hope I helped!
