I suggest you google heathers tummy care and check out that site, and I would take a probiotic with a high count of multiple strains…

It’s not an herb specifically, but have you tried Probiotics? I’ve done a lot of research on IBS because both my mother and brother have it and they have both seen HUGE benefits from taking a good probiotic daily. They have both independently told me that they could easily notice when they missed a few days of the Probiotics (like when they ran out or forgot).
It’s also common to develop irregularity after taking antibiotics for the same reason, but the Probiotics are the beneficial bacteria that lives in your intestinal tract and helps your body absorb the nutrients in your intestinal tract, which helps regularity.
I’d recommend getting a good probiotic with at least 3-5 strains and at least 4-6 billion viable organisms per dose if not more… you may want to try a higher dose at first to replenish everything right away, too. Give it a try for just 1 month and I’m willing to bet you’ll notice a huge difference even within the first couple weeks. Oh, and expect loose stools for the first day or two if you’ve had antibiotics before… it’s perfectly normal as your body’s way of trying to balance itself out and clears up within a day or so.
Good luck and I hope I helped!

Also believe it or not, if you don’t have insurance to go to the doctor. If your willing, roll all natural tobacco (with out all the additives and what not in it. And then smoke one a day, no more, no less.

Have you tried going gluten free to see if that helped? The probiotics people mentioned are a good idea, but make sure you get good ones. If they don’t have to be refrigerated, they’re not worth it. Go to the health food store and get a good brand in the fridge section. Jarrow, Now, Metagenics, Nature’s Way are all good brands to look for. Take them on an empty stomach several times a day. Avoid sugar always. Might want to try dairy free for a while and see if that makes a difference also. My brother has IBS severely and he can’t have any dairy, gluten or soy. There’s a really good website http://www.earthclinic.com that has wonderful info and natural remedies for almost anything.

That’s a link for their IBS page. I cured my recurrent pancreatitis and non-specific colitis with the info I found there. Everyone’s body is different so what works for one person may not work for another. I try things until I find what works. Dairy and gluten may be fine for you, just try different things. That site is full of user feedback so you read testimonials from people that wrote what worked or didn’t work for them. Good luck to you. That website changed my life.

I take Digestive Advantage pills for IBS from Gentech for my IBS. They work great. The cheapest place I have found to get them is Amazon.com. If you order them through amazon’s subscription service they deliver them with free shipping. I take 1 or 2 a day and usually with a meal. It initially takes about 2-3 weeks for this to get into your system before it starts to work. So you will not notice any benefits till after the 2 or 3 weeks. The other thing that helps is to get on an exercise routine. You have to do at least 30min of cardio everyday. Sweating will help to get the toxins out of your body that are causing the IBS symptoms. The last bit of advice would be to see a doctor about your systems and make sure its IBS and not something more serious.
