Do you find them helpful and if so what kind do you take? I’m thinking of taking some but haven’t decided on what brand to take and I’m confused between probiotics and antioxidants. Are they different or the same thing? There’s one brand of probiotic I’m thinking of taking but its chewable and not really sure if I like that idea. Any help with this would be appreciated. Thanks. I hope this made sense.

I eat yogurt, which contain “probiotics”.
This is just a fancy term for good bacterias.
Yogurt also contains calcium. I make my own with a yogurt maker. It’s a lot cheaper. For flavoring I add fresh fruit or even jello flavoring.
Read the yogurt containers at the store.
I haven’t checked out the prices of tablet forms of these things to compare. Probiotics produce “good” bacteria in the digestive system, to fight off “bad” bacteria. It’s important to have this balance, especially after taking anti-biotics. Anti-biotics will kill even the “good” bacteria.
Since a lot of “good” bacteria is made in the gut that seems to suggest something about the importance of a healthy diet.
Anti-oxidants are substances that help your body fight of diseases, and “probiotics” fall under this category. Another substance that is an anti-oxidant is vitamin C.
