We have a doc appointment on Thursday and I plan on asking the doc but I wondered if probiotics would be safe to help my 2.5 month old with his tummy/gas trouble or is he too young? Anyone have any experience with this, if so what did you use? Thanks!
unfortuneatly I’m not breastfeeding :( My son started teething basically at birth and after a month of trying our best we stopped. I still get upset about it..anyway..

One Response to “baby and using probiotics?”
  1. *Lilah's Mommy* says:

Are you breastfeeding? I am and I took probiotics to help my daughter with gas. It worked wonders. I never gave it to her directly though, but I think I have heard a doctor say once that you could put it on your nipple to get to the baby, but again, that’s if you are BF’ing.

This is the brand l took:

Have you tried Gripe Water or Gentle Naturals Tummy Soothers?

The Tummy Soothers worked REALLY well for us.

    Good luck!
