Should I Take Probiotics With Food Or On An Empty Stomach?
Posted by: Alan in Probiotics, tags: Empty, Food, Probiotics, Should, Stomach, Take, With
I am using primadophilus reuteri, if that helps. Should I take it with a meal or should I take it on an empty stomach? Also, what time of the day would be best? Do different probiotics have different conditions for taking them?
Thanks.

It usually gives dosing instructions on the bottle. Ours says to take in the morning 15 minutes before a meal. BUT! my son-in-law found that if he takes it at night before bed it helps immensely with night-time gas emissions – if you know what I mean. His wife makes sure he takes it at night

I take mine throughout the day after eating. Or maybe right before eating. I like Probiotic 11 by Nature’s sunshine it has literally 11 different types of good bacteria.

Mornings on an empty stomach…All probiotics help, they are flora or “good bacteria”.

I never take anything on an empty stomach, maybe because I take so much.
