Could The Probiotics In Kefir Or Yogurt Possibly Cause A Bladder Infection?

yogurt helps bladder infections because it has good bacteria. that good bacteria eats away the bad bacteria. however if you have a bladder infection, it is always best to drink water to flush it out. also drink cranberry juice as it does work because of its acids. bacteria can’t live in acidic places. you can also try cranberry pills which also work well. probiotics do not cause bladder infections but if you are on some antibiotic, it might work against it. seek advice from your doctor.

Kiefer has lots of sugar and sugar can aggrevate an existing bladder infection that you may not have been aware of. I think also that you could be allergic to something in the kiefer and allergic reactions sometimes develop into bacterial infections…

Taking log baths will cause bladderinfections. Also having sex after a period of abstinence will cause one. Make sure you drink plenty of fluids. Cranberryjuice is the best

Sugar is bad for a bladder infection. Many Yogurts have sugar in them. Coffee, Soda and alcohol have a negative affect on a bladder infection also. WATER and UNSWEETENED cranberry juice help but I would go with cranberry capsules or pills instead because they have no sugar at all, even fruit sugar should be avoided if possible until the symptoms have gone away. But you NEED to drink a LOAD of water with them to benefit the most. Water dilutes the urine and flushes it out. It is the acidophhilus-good bacteria- thats helpful in the yogurt. You can purchase it and cranberry capsules at a health food store or even Walmart carries them.

Cranberry juice will help…but make sure you get one that is not sweetened. Lakewood Organic is unsweetened and not from concentrate. You might also look for Natures Way Urinary herbal complex. It has helped me in the past. You also might want more probiotics. Primadophilus is great because it is enteric coated so it is absorbed in your intestines and not in your stomach. Stomach acid kills a lot of the beneficial bacteria.
